OUR STORY
The story of Trainman Studios began back in 2019, when my journey on YouTube first started with trainspotting videos. From the very beginning, trains were something I was passionate about, and I wanted to share that passion with others through my videos. What started as a way of recording trains and sharing my interest in the railway would eventually grow into something much bigger than I could have imagined.
One of the most important people throughout this journey has been my dad Paul. He has been there helping me from the very start, supporting me along the way and helping me continue doing what I enjoy. Having him by my side has meant a lot, because behind every journey there are people who help make it possible. His support has been an important part of the Trainman Studios story, and I wouldn't want to tell that story without mentioning him.
In the early days, trainspotting was at the heart of what I did. I enjoyed visiting stations, watching different trains come and go, and capturing those moments on camera. Every train was another opportunity to record something interesting, and every video was another chance to share my love of railways with the people watching. As with anything new, there was always more to learn, and making videos helped me develop my skills and discover what I wanted to do with the channel.
As time went on, my interests and the content I wanted to create began to develop. Rather than only standing on platforms watching trains pass by, I wanted to experience more of the railway for myself. I wanted to get on board, travel along different routes and show people what it was actually like to ride the trains. This was a natural step forward for the channel, allowing me to share a different side of the railway and take viewers along with me on the journey.
Over the years, Trainman Studios has developed from its beginnings in trainspotting into a channel focused on travelling by train. Instead of simply filming trains from the platform, I now get to experience the journeys themselves, from boarding at a station to watching the scenery pass by through the window. Every journey offers something different, whether it's discovering a new route, visiting somewhere I've never been before or experiencing a train service that people might be curious about.
As Trainman Studios continued to develop, I also wanted to find new ways to reach people and build a community around the channel. YouTube has remained an important part of that journey, giving me a place to share my videos and bring my railway adventures to viewers. However, I didn't want the community to be limited to YouTube alone. I wanted to explore other platforms where people could discover Trainman Studios, keep up with what was happening and get involved with the wider community.
That's where platforms such as TikTok, Discord, Roblox and Facebook became part of the Trainman Studios story. Each platform offers a different way to connect with people, share content and give the community more opportunities to get involved. TikTok provides another way for people to discover Trainman Studios through shorter videos and clips, while Facebook offers another place to share updates and reach viewers. Discord gives the community a dedicated place to chat, interact and connect with other people who enjoy being part of Trainman Studios.
Roblox has also become part of the wider community, opening up opportunities to bring people together in a different way through gaming and shared experiences. Trainman Studios isn't just about the videos I upload; it's also about creating a community where people can interact, share their interests and feel involved in something bigger.
Of course, running a community across different platforms comes with its own challenges. Each platform has its own features, audience and ways of bringing people together. Keeping everything moving forward takes time and effort, but building a welcoming community is an important part of what I want Trainman Studios to be. The aim is to give people more ways to follow the journey, enjoy the content and become part of the community, wherever they choose to join.
Throughout all of this, my dad Paul has continued to be an important part of the story. Having his help and support from the beginning has made a real difference, and I am grateful to have him alongside me throughout the journey. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes when creating videos and building a community, and the support of the people closest to you can mean more than you might realise.
Now, in 2026, Trainman Studios is taking another step forward with the launch of its own website. Having a website creates a new home for the community, bringing another part of the Trainman Studios journey together in one place. It gives people another way to find out about the channel, learn about its story and keep up with what is happening.
The website is also an opportunity to look back at how far Trainman Studios has come since 2019, while looking ahead to what might be possible in the future. With YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Roblox and Facebook already forming part of the wider community, the website adds another place where people can connect with Trainman Studios and follow its development.
Looking back, it's amazing to think about how things have developed. What began with trainspotting videos has grown into a journey that includes riding trains, exploring different railway routes, creating content across multiple platforms and building a community around Trainman Studios. It has become about more than simply recording trains; it's about sharing experiences, meeting people with similar interests and creating something that viewers can be part of.
None of this would mean as much without the people who have supported the journey along the way. To everyone who has watched my videos, followed me on social media, joined the Discord community, taken part in the Roblox side of things, followed the Facebook page or visited this website, thank you for being part of Trainman Studios. Every person who takes the time to support the channel and its community helps make the journey worthwhile.
And, of course, a special thank you goes to my dad Paul, for helping and supporting me from the very beginning. He has been part of this journey since those early days, and I wouldn't want the story of Trainman Studios to leave out the role he has played along the way.
Looking towards the future, there is still so much I want to explore. There are more trains to ride, more destinations to visit, more videos to create and more ideas to bring to life. I also want to keep developing the Trainman Studios community, making the most of the different platforms and finding new ways for people to get involved.
I cannot say exactly what the future will bring, but that's part of the excitement. There could be new projects, new opportunities and new ways to connect with the people who follow Trainman Studios. Whatever happens, I want to keep learning, improving and building on everything that has come before.
The most exciting thing is that the story of Trainman Studios is still being written. From the first trainspotting videos in 2019 to riding trains today, and from a YouTube channel to a wider community across YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Roblox, Facebook and now this website, the journey has continued to grow and develop.
Every platform represents another opportunity to share what I do, connect with people and bring the Trainman Studios community closer together. There is still plenty to achieve, and I am looking forward to seeing where the next chapter takes us.
Thank you for being part of Trainman Studios, whether you've been here since the early trainspotting days or have only just discovered the channel. Your support means a lot, and I hope you'll continue to follow the journey as it develops.
Every journey has a starting point, and mine began in 2019. Since then, there have been trains to spot, journeys to experience, videos to create and a community to build. With my dad Paul continuing to be part of the story and so many possibilities ahead, there is still plenty to look forward to.
This isn't the end of the story. It's the beginning of another chapter.
The journey continues.
